| Abstract: | Taking labor division as subject matter, The German Ideology studies such basic categories of historical materialism as productivity, production relations, private ownership, class, country and so on, thus bringing about a significant theory of labor division. By interpreting the text, this paper presents the significance of labor division theory of The German Ideology in constituting historical materialism. |
