Abstract: | Separation of 1,2-diacylglycerol (DG) enantiomers as their 3,5-dinitrophenylurethane derivatives by high-performance liquid
chromatography on a chiral column (Sumichiral OA-4100) was significantly improved at low temperature,e.g., at −30°C. A linear relationship between logarithmic retention volumes and the number of carbons and olefinic bonds of the
DG enantiomers was obtained. The effects of temperature on the separation are discussed. |
