In order to implement the compensation policies well, the government formulated a series of compensation and settlement policies, which speed up the development of the industry and urbanization progress. Taking a holistic view on the evolution of these policies, they share many similarities, yet differences exist. Based on the concluded relevant polices, further analysis is made on the similarities and differences in terms of compensation subject, content, methods, and resettlement fund. Suggestions are put forward such as sharing experiences when formulating policies and the policies needing continuous improvements.
