玉洁纯在牙膏和漱口水中的作用机理与应用

Antiplaque principle and application of triclosan in toothpastes and mouthrinses

Triclosan (2,4,4'-trichloro-2'-hydroxydiphen y1 ether)is a nonionic,broad spectrum, antimicrobial agent. Because of its favorable safety profile, it has been incorp orated into a variety of many personal care products,including deodorant soaps, underarm deodorants,shower gels,and health care personnal handwashes.A new appli c a tion for triclosan is in oral dentifrices for plaque control.Currently under inv estigation in the United States,it is approved for oral care application in Can a da and many European countries.The antibacterial agent triclosan has demonstrate d antiplaque and antigingivitis activity in several clinical studies.Retention o f antiplaque agents is of significance for their clinical effect.The present sit uation of antiplaque principle and clinical trial of triclosan in toothpastes a nd mouthrinses are related in this paper.It is contained three parts with physic s-chemical function,control of plaque,production triclosan principle.It provid es profitable reference for reforming toothpaste and mouthrinese and developing Chinese toothpaste industry.Triclosan quickly rises at our country oral hygiene application.The trend of its development will anticipate and arouse whole profession.
