| Abstract: | The current status and main problems of broadband access development in China is introduced in this paper.It's pointed out that accelerating the upgrade of broadband access is a task which brooks no delay for China telecom operators.The strategy of constructing ubiquitous broadband with collaborations of wireless and wireline technologies is investigated.The driving forces of FTTH and the technology selections of PON are analyzed.The technology trend of evolving toward next generation PON is discussed. |
