| Abstract: | In 2003 the Brazilian government created the Ministry of City which founded then the National Secretariat of Transportation and Urban Mobility (Se-Mob) in charge of the elaboration and the implementation of urban mobility policy. The article, written by two senior officials of SeMob, presents the context, objectives and contents, basic principals and the evaluation of the new "Sustainable urban Mobility Policy" set up in Brazil. |
