Abstract: | - 1.1. A study was made of the effect of operational parameters on amination of esters on a fused iron catalyst. Conditions were found to obtain aliphatic amines with a yield of up to 85–86%.
- 2.2. During amination of aliphatic esters both the acid and the alcoholic group of the initial ester take part in the formation of amines.
