Abstract:The microorganism was immobilized by chitin for studying its adsorption of Cu2+,and the effect of conduction and coexisted heavy metal on adsorption was studied. The results demonstrated that the adsorptive capacity went up with the Cu2+ concentration growing. The most adsorption capacity was 62.31 mg/g,the process went fast. The pH was the key factor but the temperature was not. There was competition exist when Zn2+ was coexisted, which reduced the adsorptive capacity of Cu2+.
Keywords:immobilized  chitin  copper irons
