Revamping the fluorine absorption system of a SSP plant

With the enlargement of the productive capacity to 200 kt/a from 50 kt/a at the corp., the fluorine absorption system is modified with spray absorber instead of watersprinkling wheel absorption room,and with installations of separator and cooler for silica gel in the absorbent, which results in the much higher fluorine absorbility, the tail gas exhausting under the national environmental standard and the recovery of commercial byproduct fluorosilicic acid with highanalysis. Meanwhile its process, equipment and operation are also described.
