| Abstract: | The characteristics of perlite and diatomite as filter aids, the principle of filtration and the technological requirements lor the application of them were described. Different technological tests were made on the mixture of perlite/diatomite and diat-boute alone. The prospects of the combined application of perlite and diatomite as the filter aids for beverage syrup were summarized and discussed. |
