电子倍增级联系统中的噪声因子和增益起伏因子

摘    要:电子倍增过程中的每一次的次级电子的激发过程都是一个增益放大过程,次级电子的激发服从一定的随机分布,其增益也是一个随机起伏的变量。通常用噪声因子来描述电子倍增系统的输入输出特性,但是噪声因子是与输入信号相联系的,它不能描述器件本身的增益特性.本文提出了一个增益起伏因子,用来描述电子倍增器件增益特性的变化,并根据对电子倍增级联放大过程的分析,提出了更一般的倍增过程的统计假设,从而得到了电子倍增级联系统的噪声因子和增益起伏因子的表达式,以及它们之间的关系.

Abstract:The excitement of second electron in electron multiply process is a gain process actually, which obeys certain distribution rules. The gain is a randomized quantity. The characteristics of input-utput of electron multiply system can be described by a noise factor usually. Because the noise factor is connected with input signals, it can't be used to characterize the gain of multiplication. In this paper, one concept of gain variation factor is given to describe the gain characteristics. Based on the analysis to cascading system of electron multiplication, one more general hypothesis about multiplication process statistics is prompted, and the expressions of noise factor and gain variation factor in cascading multiplication system and their relationships are given.
