| Abstract: | All-optical analog-to-digital conversion has been found wide applications in high-speed optical signal processing.Optical quantization is a key step in all-optical analog-to-digital conversion.In this paper,the advances of the optical quantization methods are summarized.The novel optical-quantization schemes based on different nonlinear effects in optical fiber are presented.A comparison of these quantization techniques is given. |
