Implementation of H.248 Protocol for Gateway

Through an analysis of H.248 protocol,softswitch and TDM technologies,the contents of H.248 protocol are described,the specific design scheme of the software and hardware architecture of gateway is proposed.For software scalability,a layered design model is provided,the functions of all sub-models are described,and the design and implementation schemes of H.248 protocol in gateway are proposed.The specific implementation method of registration and call processes are given based on standard requirement,and according to the environment of application,a dual-homing scheme is proposed,which enhances the stability and reliability of gateway equipment.
