Electrochemical Behaviors of Zinc Electrode (Ⅱ) ——Studies on the Inhibition Mechanisms of Zinc Electrode in Leclanche Zn/MnO_2 Batteries

摘    要:Zinc electrode corrosion and inhibition mechanisms for the NH4C1 electrolyte solution, in Leclanche cell were investigated by the methods of linear polarization resistance, bidirectional polarization curve and electrochemical impedance measurements. It was found that the organic inhibitors mainly affected the zinc anodic direction corrosion reaction by their negative catalytic effect due to the adsorption on the zinc surfaces the inorganic inhibitors, however, were tended to affect cathodic direction corrosion reaction. The inhibition mechanism of the organic inhibitors was proposed.
