摘    要:因天气影响Ka频段信道的衰落与其他衰落信道有所不同,研究了Turbo码在Ka频段移动卫星通信系统中的性能.Turbo码解码的过程中需要知道信噪比信息,针对该频段包括天气衰减和多径衰减两部分的特点,根据接收端天气情况是否已知,给出了两种改进的可供选择的信噪比估计方法.最后利用Matlab仿真了利用理想的和估计信噪比的Turbo码系统的性能.仿真结果表明该估计方法是有效的,可以较正确的估计出信道的信噪比信息,为Ka波段移动卫星系统中Turbo码解码提供了一种切实可行的方案.

Abstract:The performances of Turbo codes in Ka - band mobile satellite systems have been studied as the fading characteristics in Ka band are different from those in other bands. The SNR is needed in Turbo decoder, so according to whether the information of weather is known to the estimator or not, two improved methods for estimating the received SNR are proposed for Ka band channel including the weather impairments and multi - path fading. And the performance of a Turbo coded system with perfect and estimated SNR is investigated using Matlab. It is shown that the methods are available at Ka - band for correct SNR estimation, and that the Turbo decoding is applicable to Ka band mobile satellite systems.
