| Abstract: | The design and control parameters during normal operation and startup and shutdown of the molten salt system for a WSA sulphuric acid plant are discussed on the basis of production practice. Properties of molten salt are described in detail and maters needing attention and risks to be avoided in molten salt charging, set-up of molten salt piping, valves, pump tank and insulation are proposed, so as to guarantee stable operation of sulphuric acid plant. |
