Abstract:In order to prepare a temperature-responsive moisture-control smart fabric,resorcinol diglycidyl acrylate is used to introduce unsaturated double bond onto the surface of polylactic acid(PLA)nonwoven fabric by heat treatment.Under UV irradiation,the polyacrylamide/poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)(PAAM/PNIPAAM)interpenetrating polymer network hydrogel system is grafted onto the surface of PLA nonwovens.The chemical structure and morphology of the grafted fabric are analyzed,and the influence of PNIPAAM content on the moisture permeability of the fabric at different temperatures is explored.The results show that the pore structures on the surface of the PLA nonwovens can be achieved by the two step process of unsaturated double bond pretreatment and UV light grafting.When the mass fraction of PNIPAAM in the interpenetrating network is 10%and the mass fraction of AAM is 10%,the moisture permeability of the grafted fabric is 1731 g/(m2·d)at 24℃,and 3601 g/(m2·d)at 38℃,which endows PLA nonwovens with intelligent moisture permeability with controllable temperature.When it is applied to wound dressing,it can keep wound moist at low temperature and low moisture permeability,and reduce wound temperature at high temperature and high moisture permeability.
