Characteristics of wide slab caster and the control of slab quality |

| Abstract: | This paper introduced the technical parameters and characteristics of a new wide slab continuous casting machine built in NISCO. Measures to control the quality of slab such as the control of stability of liquid steel surface in mold,oscillation and the marks of oscillation as well as the control of liquid steel flow were also presented. |
