摘    要:本文提出了一种新的多分辨率边缘检测方法,它模拟了生物视网膜对视觉信息非均匀采样及生物视觉具有选择注意能力的特点,通过在视觉处理早期仅对感兴趣的区域注视而忽略或抛弃其他无关细节,将带宽和计算资源合理分配,与Mallat等人提出的多分辨率分析框架相比,能进一步降低计算复杂度且更符合生物视觉机理。

Abstract:Based on nonuniform sampling and selective attention mechanism, a novel multiresolution edge detection method is proposed. It imitates the characteristics of human retina and tries to allocate bandwidths and computational resources in accordance with the information distribution over the areas of interest. Compared with the method proposed by Mallat,our method can obtain a further reduction of computational complexity due to a more rational visual model.
