基于SRTM的飞行模拟器三维地形生成技术

摘    要:针对波音737-300全任务飞行模拟器中的地形无法满足国内拥有复杂地形特点机场的训练需求,提出了应用SRTM数字高程数据构建真实地形的方法,并针对sRTM数字高程数据中存在的数据空洞及大数据量的特点,分别提出了基于数据融合的克里金插值算法和基于改进四叉树的1OD地形简化方法,从而在提高原始SRTM数字高程数据精度的同时,也保证以此数据所构建出的地形能够满足飞行模拟器视景系统对实时性的要求。实验结果表明,利用该方法所构建出的地形能够真实地展现机场周边的复杂地形特征,同时,其渲染帧速率也证明了该地形能够满足系统对实时性的要求。

3D Terrain Generation Technology for Flight Simulator Based on SRTM
Abstract:Boeing 737-300 full-mission flight simulators cannot meet domestic demands for complex terrain features of airport training,so the application of SRTM digital elevation model is put forward to construct real terrain method.Digital elevation data based on SRTM have characteristics of void holes and large amounts of data,so the Kriging interpolation method based on data fusion and LOD technology based on quad tree are proposed.This method can not only improve the accuracy of the original SRTM digital elevation data,but also guarantee to construct the terrain based on SRTM and meet the flight simulator visual system for real-time demand.Experimental results show that the terrain constructed by this method can show the real complex terrain around airport.The rendering frame rate also proves that the terrain can satisfy the requirements of the system in real time.
