The genesis and formed modalities of standards in human history are deeply discussed in this article.The standard forming relations with milestone significance in human history are established.These important standard modalities include body behavior standard,language standard,tool standard,character standard,weights and measures standard,document standard,and so on.The background reasons,formed modalities,characters,functions for each kind of standards are deeply discussed in this article.The conclusion that the original modality of standards is body behavior standard rather than language standard is reasoned out.In terms of the research of this article the original conclusion of standards is advanced for two history phases.The synthesis relations of standards development are also analyzed in this article.
