电信电缆监测仪的研制

摘    要:针对电话网络的管理问题,开发了一种用于监测通讯电缆状态的新型仪器.本文介绍了基于测量电缆阻抗进行电缆故障监测的原理.仪器通过测量电缆的阻抗,实现通讯电缆状态监测和电缆故障点的定位.仪器由单片机控制专门设计的阻抗测量电路,实现电缆状况的实时监测.监测仪与主机之间通过DTMF信号实现通讯.实践证明,在区域性电信网络中,电信电缆监测仪可以快速地实现电缆故障点自动定位.

Abstract:Aimed at the problem of local telephone network management, a new instrument for monitoring the state of the communication cable has been developed. A novel principle for communication cable trouble detection with impedance measurement is introduced. The instrument measured the cable impedance to monitor cable state and calculate fault point. The hardware system of the instrument is controlled by a single-chip microcomputer. The special detecting circuit has been designed for measuring the impedance of the communication cable. The instrument exchange information with the host computer by DTMF signal through the Public Switched Telephone Network. The application results show that the instrument can perfectly satisfy the requirement for automatic testing the communication cable fault point rapidly in a local telephone network.
