| Abstract: | The present situation and development of the application of the styrene-based copolymers in papermaking industry at home and abroad are discussed. Recently, with the development of papermaking technology, these styrene-based copolymers has already been utilized widely in papermaking industry, they are used as the additives in wet end such as neutral sizing agents, paper strengthening agent, retention and drainage aids, and also used as the coating chemicals such as coating binder, plastic pigment, surface sizing agent and so on. |
