The Historical Evolvement of the Landscape of Que and Hua Mountains and Water Environment in the Northern Suburb of Jinan

Que and Hua Mountains, lying in the northern suburb of Jinan, were one of the most famous tourist sights, especially from Tang to Song Dnasties. After Yuan Dnasty it became to decline because of water lost. However, the image of Que and Hua Mountains still rooted in the historical cultural traditions and had been the typical landscape of Jinan during a very long period. A historical research on the Que and Hua Mountains landscape and water environment are made, which could be helpful to the new planning and design.
