摘 要: | 本文叙述一种新的S波段T/R组件,它为装备一台空中防御雷达--MASTER雷达而开发。 这种组件的特殊之处是它在宽频带内具有很高的功率(S波段内峰值功率大于1.2kW),并具有很长的脉冲(高达200μs)和高占空比(15%)。很好的脉冲稳定度是考虑热现象和电源波动的深入研究的结果。 接收支路的主要参数是很低的噪声系数(典型值是2dB,包括收发开关和限幅器损耗),以及很高精度的幅相控制。 为了确保很高的可靠性,对组件进行了设计(设计保证MTBF高于33000小时):元件的结温很低,以便增加MTBF。这个很高的MTBF是通过用一个高效的冷板对每个元件适当地冷却而获得的。

Abstract: | This paper describes a new S band T/R module which has been developed to equip the MASTER radar, an air defense radar. The particularity of this module is its very high power in a wide frequency band (more than 1.2kW peak power in S band) with very long pulses (up to 200μs) and high duty cycle (15%) . The very good pulse to pulse stability figure is the result of a deep study which has been made taking into account the thermal phenomena and the power supply fluctuations. The main parameters for the reception path is a very low noise figure (2dB typical including the duplexer and the limiter losses), the amplitude/phase control with a very high accuracy. The design of the module was made to ensure a very high reliability (it was designed to ensure a MTBF better than 33000 hours): the junction temperature of the component is very low in order to increase their MTBF. This very high MTBF is achieved by an appropriate cooling of each component with an efficient cooling plate. |
