论口译的哲学基础及语用原则的辩证与互补

合作原则与礼貌原则是语用原则的主要内容,也是利奇人际交际修辞理论的核心。Leech认为合作类言外行为交际双方注重信息本身及信息传递的有效、迅速和最大限度,对人际修辞的合作原则权重较大,礼貌原则无关紧要。本文以口译为主题,在口译的主要哲学基础——语言游戏论的指导下,探讨合作原则和礼貌原则的互补与辩证,指出:合作原则是口译的基本原则,礼貌原则是口译的相对原则,二者在口译中相互补充、互为辩证、缺一不可。

The Philosophic Foundation of Interpretation and the Dialectical Relationship of its Pragmatic Principles

Cooperative Principle (CP) and Politeness Principle (PP) are not only the main content of pragmatic principles but also the core of Leech's interpersonal rhetoric. According to Leech's theory, both speakers attach great importance to the message and its effect, speed, and content of delivery in communication in which cooperative principles are emphasized while politeness principles are nothing to focus on. The paper tries to explore the dialectical relationship of Cooperative Principles (CP) and Politeness Principles (PP) in interpretation on the philosophic foundation of language games, and draws the conclusion that Cooperative Principle (CP) is essential whereas Politeness Principle (PP) is a relative one that also affects the quality of interpretation. Thus the two principles are dialectical and can complement each other.
