摘    要:细节点检测是基于细节点的指纹识别系统的重要内容。传统的基于脊线细化的检测方法,耗时长、伪节点多。针对这一缺陷,本文提出了一种基于差分码的细节特征点提取方法。首先跟踪脊线边缘得到差分码,再利用差分码对不同的边界特征具有独特的差分码这一特点检测转弯点,这些点就是指纹细节点位置。实验将本文方法跟3种不同的方法进行对比,结果表明,本文的方法在检测速度和检测精度总体上有所提高。

Abstract:Minutiae detection is an important contact on fingerprint identification system. The traditional way based on thinning ridge has the defect of time-consuming and getting many spurious minutiae. In the light of this limitation, an algorithm for extracting minutiae based on differential code is proposed. At the beginning, get the differential code by tracing ridge boundary, subsequently, detect the turning point through the differential code which has the special characteristic for different features, which location is the minutiae existing. In this paper, three different methods are chose to compare with our way. The results show that the proposed approach can detect minutiae with less computational cost and lower false detection.
