| Abstract: | Strengthening of the foundations of the basement portions of residential buildings by the installation of vertical reinforced-concrete girdling walls and broadening of the lower surfaces of the foundations beneath the bearing walls is described in connection with possible manifestation of karst-suffosion processes. |
