Abstract:The kinematically admissible three-dimensional continuous velocity field of square bar drawing through a conical die was established. Its divergence has been proved to be zero. Then, the integral as a function of the upper limit and surface integral were used respectively in deformation and friction powers, and an upper beund analytical solution of the square bar drawing stress was obtained by the upper-beund theorem.
