Abstract:As an oil and gas pipeline,the sandwich pipe is used in high pressure deep water and frequent pipeline collision marine environment to provide greater structural resistance.The current understanding of the denting behavior of the sandwich pipe impacted by falling objects is not deep.Therefore,based on the thin-walled pipe denting deformation theory model,the finite element method is used to study the structural denting behavior of the sandwich pipe under lateral load.Through parameter analysis,the effects of internal medium pressure,external hydrostatic pressure and annulus ratio on the sandwich pipe structure response are discussed.The research results show that the load resistance of the sandwich pipe increases nonlinearly with the denting depth.Its denting deformation conforms to the denting deformation mechanism of the rigid-plastic three-dimensional shell of the thin-walled pipe.The increase of internal pressure can increase the resistance of the pipeline to the impact load,while the external pressure effect is the opposite.Increasing the thickness of the core layer can improve the energy absorption ratio of each layer of the sandwich pipe,thereby protecting the internal and external pipeline.The study has certain guiding significance for the design and safety assessment of sandwich insulation pipeline.
