In order to promote the basic research and comprehensive development and utilization of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge oil, the nutritional ingredients in X. sorbifolia oil were reviewed, the influencing factors of the nutritional ingredients composition and content of the oil were analyzed, and the edible safety evaluation and functional activities of the oil were summarized.
