紫禁城琉璃门的营造尺寸与设计逻辑

摘    要:北京紫禁城中琉璃门数量众多,形式相似又不尽相同。本文通过文献记载结合对紫禁城内琉璃门的实测数据分析,关注琉璃门的单体设计层面,即琉璃门主体与门上构件的特征。推断古代匠人在规划设计和建造琉璃门时所关注和控制的关键尺寸,归纳其中若干原则和规律。为当下琉璃门的测绘、信息归档及修缮工作提供一定的参考与指导。

Building Size and Design Logic of Gates with Glazed Components in the Forbidden City

Abstract:There are numerous gates with glazed components in the Forbidden City in Beijing; they are similar in form, although not identical. Using archival records combined with field mapping data, this paper explores the architectural design of these gates, focusing on the characteristics of the gate body and the components above it. As a direct result, the paper identifies the key dimensions that the builders of the past used for these gates, and elaborates some general principles and rules of their design. This will provide guidance on how to map, document, and conserve these gates in the future.
