摘    要:本文实现了一个基于Internet/Intranet的远程测试系统SAIL,该系统主要用于远程学习和测试,并可以评价测试结果,根据测试者的实际能力自适应地创建练习。我们基于三层客户/服务器模型进行系统设计,使用Java语言进行系统开发,利用RMI实现客户端与服务器的数据与操作通信,采用数据与显示相分离的JFC设计用户交互界面。试运行情况表明,该系统的实现策略具有很好的可扩充性和可移植性。

Abstract:In this paper,we introduce a remote intelligent testing system called SAIL(short for simple adaptive item library) , which is used in the Internet/Intranet. The system is mainly used for remote study and test. The results of testing can also be evaluated and analysed, so that the item library will be accordingly optimize to modify the progress of the students. Thus the system can provide adaptive papers to the student according to his capability. The design of the system is based on Client/Server architecture. With Java as the language of development and using RMI and socket, the data communication and the operation between client and server are implemented.The user interface is designed by the technology of JFC, which separates the data from display.It's proved that the implementation strategy has good expandability and portability.
