This paper describes design processes of a set of single parting-surface injection mold under the CAD and Pro/E environment.This design highlights the entire mold design processes,including the analysis of the plastic parts and materials,the design of parting surface and exhaust system,gating system,forming part and cooling system etc.The injection process of the mold is analyzed at the same time.The mold is compact on structure,reliable and efficient in operation.
