| Abstract: | Air lift is one of the most prospective lift methods in deep sea polymetallic nodule mining. The technological parameters, such as solid to liquid volume ratio, pipe pressure loss, air injection depth, supplied air volume, lifting capacity and so on, are of very importance to designing of the air lift system. Based on the experimental research, and in light of the concrete conditions of deep sea mining, the above parameters are analyzed using multiphase theorey and the relationship among them is discussed. |
