| Abstract: | The cause for surface cracks and center cracks of a small conticasted billet was studied in this papers .The results shows that some factors is great important for prevention of this internal cracks, such as to improve the distribution of second cooling water, to practise strictly the conticasting process and to keep the better service conditions of a conticaster. |
