摘    要:本文回顾了地震烈度在我国抗震规范中的作用,并从抗震理论的发展,指出地震烈度概念与规范对地震动的规定之间的矛盾,以及对进一步改进的束缚。这一矛盾主要表现在地震烈度要求简单而综合,但抗震设计则要求分清引起结构破坏的不同因素,以便对症下药地采取有效措施。文中提出在抗震规范中不再采用烈度而直接规定地震动参数进行计算,按震级与震中距离规定抗震构造措施。最后,本文在借用国外地震动观测资料上对比了现行规范与建议方法的合理程度;并以一个具体例子对比了两种方法的结果。

Abstract:The function of earthquake intensity in the aseismic code in China is reviewed in the first part of the paper. It points out the contradiction between the fundamental idea of intensity and the parameters for ground motion in the current code and it is believed that the use of earthquake intensity restrains the improvement in revising the code, The macroseismic intensity combines different phenomena into a single gradation of seriousness of the shock while the current theory used in aseismic design requires to distinguish various factors of shock pertinent to structural damage in order that different measures would be taken accordingly. It is suggested to use the physical parameters of ground motion and earthquake in the code directly without reference to earthquake intensity. An example is given to show the benifit of the suggested approach over the current code by utilizing the strong motion data obtained in other places.
