Ground-wave propagation at medium and low frequencies

General methods of computing tropospheric diffraction fields in atmospheres whose modified refractive index increases monotonically with height are indicated, new ground-wave-propagation curves are predicted, and the effective-Earth-radius transition at medium and low frequencies is given.
