发展社会主义文化 全面建设小康社会

党的十六大提出了全面建设小康社会的奋斗目标。对于小康社会,人们往往把它理解为一种单纯的经济指标,理解为一种国民生产总值的发展指数,而忽视了人们精神生活的小康水平。发展社会主义文化,建设社会主义精神文明,不仅是全面建设小康社会的内在要求和重要内容,而且必将促进和加快全面建设小康社会的步伐。文章将从三个方面来论述发展社会主义文化在全面建设小康社会中的地位与作用。

On the Development of Socialist Culture in Building a Well-off Society

We have set the target of building a well - off society in an all - round way in the 16th party Congress in 2002. As to a well-off society in an all - round way, people always tend to think that it is only an economic business, or a kind of development index of gross national product; whereas being well off in people's cultural life is always neglected. In fact, it is not only an internal requirement and significant contents of a well-off society, but is of key importance in speeding up the pace of this process. In this paper, the position and function of developing socialist spiritual civilization and culture will be discussed around three aspects.
