牙轮钻头单金属浮动密封结构的密封机理

摘    要:在牙轮钻头中成功应用单金属浮动金属密封结构的关键在于控制密封端面之间的接触压力。应用当今最先进的非线性有限元分析软件Msc Marc ,结合单金属浮动金属密封结构的装配过程对其密封机理进行了有限元分析。通过对装配和工作过程中密封面的接触应力分布以及关键部位的应力变化的分析 ,提出实际应用中应注意的问题 ,并探讨了结构形式、设计参数、材料、润滑脂对密封能力的影响 ,为国内钻头厂家掌握单金属浮动密封结构的设计开发技术提供一定的借鉴和帮助。

Abstract:How to control the normal stress between sealing faces is a critical factor while using metal face seals for rolling cutter rock bits. This article makes an investigation in the sealing mechanism of metal face seals for rock bits in process of assembly by Msc. Marc, an advanced nonlinear FEM software. Based on an analysis of the normal stress distributing of sealing faces and stress variation of pivotal part in assemblage and working, the problems that should be considered in engineering application are put forward, and the influence of the assembly form, design parameters, material and lubricant on the sealing ability is discussed, and this is meaningful to the domestic bit manufacturer in the design and development of metal face seals.
