EU legislation for Food Safety of Cereals and Cereal Products

摘    要:Since the discovery of aflatoxins in the early 1960s, regulations have been established in many countries to protect the consumer from the harmful effects of these mycotoxins. The recognition that aflatoxins and other mycotoxins can cause major illness in humans and animals has led to limits being set for aflatoxins and some other mycotoxins in different countries around the world, often however on an ad hoc basis. Currently maximum levels of aflatoxins B1(2ug/kg) and B1 B2 G1 G2 combined (4ug/kg) and och-ratoxin A (3~5ug/kg) exist for cereals (including buckwheat
