碳酸盐岩分类

本文主要是介绍结构分类。从结构观点看,碳酸盐岩由颗粒、泥、胶结物、晶粒以及生物格架五种结构组分组成。根据岩石中各种结构组分的特征及其相对含量,可把石灰岩划分为三大类,即Ⅰ,颗粒-灰泥石灰岩;Ⅱ,晶粒石灰岩;Ⅲ,生物格架-礁石灰岩。第Ⅰ大类石灰岩根据颗粒与灰泥的相对百分含量进一步分类,划分为颗粒石灰岩、颗粒质石灰岩、含颗粒石灰岩和无颗粒石灰岩四类。

CLASSIFICATION OF CARBONATE ROCKS

From the point of view of texture,Carbonate rocks are mainly composed of grains,mud,cement crystals and bio-framework.According to the character of the constituent elements and their relative content,limestones may be classified into three groups:granular micritic limestones,crystalline limestones and bio-framework-reef limestones,and in terms of the relative amounts of grain and micrite contents,granular micritic limestones may be subdivided into a number of smaller groups. The classification in this paper is made in consideration of both the textural components and their origin.
