虚拟机的应用

介绍了虚拟机的概念和利用X86保护模式建立的虚拟机系统，并通过虚拟机软件VMWare在个人机上的实际应用，给出了虚拟机的运行机制和一般使用方法、通过实际应用中积累的经验，提出了使用虚拟机提高系统资源利用率的问题。在一台普通计算机中安装多个虚拟机，对于在资源有限的情况下使用计算机进行多个操作系统的应用是十分方便的，尤其是对于高校的计算机教学和学生上机来说，能够大大提高效率和效益。

Computer-aided instruction with Virtual Machine

In this article,the author introduces the Virtual Machine system based on X86protected mode and how to use a Virtual Machine software named VMWa re installed in the Host system to sim ulate a real computer.With the experience of practice,the author has advanced an issue which explains how to use Virtu al Machine to improve the using -rate of the existing system resource.To install and setu p multi Virtual Machine system on a re al computer,is helpful to CAI with th e limited con-dition,especially,can improve efficiency and benefit to computer education in high school.
