Research on the Path to Improve the Ability of University Information Management Under the Background of Digitalization

With the development of information technology, it plays an increasingly important role in promoting the digitization of education. This paper firstly analyzes the problems faced by colleges and universities in the process of digitization, including four aspects: inefficient online teaching, lack of personnel management, difficult to check personnel trajectories, and large amount of offline data. Secondly, it expounds the important role of information technology. Through management practices such as online and offline hybrid teaching, campus intelligent access control system, accurate decision-making with big data, and online one-stop service, it can effectively solve the problems encountered in the digitization of colleges and universities. Finally, it summarizes the application advantages of information technology in the digitization of colleges and universities, that is, it can not only effectively improve the digital literacy of teachers and students, but also promote the sharing of educational resources through the deep integration of information technology and education and teaching.
