| 摘 要： | 造纸术和印刷术是图书馆发展史上的第一次飞跃;信息存储新材料和计算机技术、通信技术、网络技术作为图书馆发展史上的第二次飞跃已经到来.信息存储新材料将改变传统图书馆的馆藏结构、服务方式、阅读方式和工作手段,为数字图书馆的建立奠定基础.

| Abstract: | Techniques of papar-making and printing were the first leap in library development. The second leap has come because of available new material for information storage, computer technology, telecommunicating and network technology. The new material will improve completely the traditional stock arrangement, service form, reading way and library working style to lay solid foundation for digital libraries. |
