星载SAR原始数据压缩模块的FPGA实现

摘    要:分块自适应量化(BAQ)算法是目前最适于工程实现的合成孔径雷达(SAR)原始数据压缩算法。文中介绍了该算法的基本原理,针对星载SAR数据的实时传输,重点介绍了可变压缩比BAQ算法的数据压缩模块方案及其FPGA设计实现硬件压缩,并给出了仿真结果。用FPGA实现原始数据压缩灵活可靠,适合在星载SAR系统中应用。

Abstract:Block Adaptive Quantization(BAQ) is the most efficient algorithm for Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) raw data compression.In this paper,the theory on this algorithm is introduced.Aiming at real-time data transmission for spaceborne SAR,a BAQ scheme of data compression module which allows a changing compression ratio is recommended.The hardware implementation by field programmable gate array and the result are also given.This method is suitable for spaceborne SAR systems.
