Abstract: | This paper describes a dummy test of a cryogenic heat pipe coupled between the infrared detector and cooler. The cryogenic heat pipe provides efficient thermal conduction for 2 W power over a 87.5 cm length with a maximum temperature difference of 0.91 K at 82 K operating temperature. The test results have useful applications. |
