| Abstract: | The initiation and early stages of growth (< 100 μm) of stress corrosion cracks in X65 line pipe steel have been studied with superimposed low frequency cyclic stresses. The effects of frequency, cyclic amplitude and the level of background tensile stress have been examined. |
