Abstract: | The relationship between superconductivity and band structures of electrons and phonons is established on the basis of a generalized Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer model in which the interaction strengths (V11,V12,V12) among and between electron (1) and hole (2) Cooper pairs are differentiated. Elemental superconductors must have local hyperboloidal Fermi surfaces called necks or inverted double caps. |
