| Abstract: | The causes for the wax deposit on oil well and the damage of such deposit are summarized,the characteristics of oil based,water based or emulsion paraffin remover or paraffin inhibitor and solid paraffin inhibitor are analyzed,the mechanism and influencing factors of paraffin remover and paraffin inhibitor are introduced,and the future development of paraffin remover and paraffin inhibitor is put forward in this paper. |
